Project Overview:
I conducted auditing and training projects at various mines and smelters as part of my role as a Safety and Project Management Specialist. These projects focused on evaluating and improving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) management practices through thorough assessments, audits, and training sessions.
 

As a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 19011, I utilized my expertise to conduct comprehensive audits of SHEQ management systems at these facilities. This involved reviewing standard operating procedures, identifying potential hazards, and evaluating compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. I provided recommendations for improvement and worked closely with site personnel to develop and implement targeted action plans to address identified gaps.
 

In addition to auditing, I also conducted training sessions for the workforce on various SHEQ topics. This included topics such as hazard identification, incident reporting, emergency response, and mental health support programs. I facilitated workshops, delivered presentations, and provided guidance to promote a culture of safety and accountability among employees and contractors.
 

Through these projects, I gained valuable hands-on experience in mining and smelter environments, further enhancing my skills in project management, team collaboration, and risk assessment. These experiences have strengthened my expertise in driving safety excellence and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards in the mining and smelting industries.
